Enzymicals has a recently granted US and EU patent for the production of chiral amines via transaminase reactions with salt precipitation. This in-situ product crystallization technology marks a breakthrough in the enzymatic synthesis of chiral amines, requiring only equimolar quantities of the amine donor, with the added benefit of product isolation through simple filtration.
Independently and successfully demonstrated by various companies and universities at scales of up to 100 kg, this proprietary technology is now available for licensing or outright acquisition.
