We were delighted to present results from the project at the project board meeting and conference – Plastic biodegradation: the next chapter in upcycling through enzymatic biocatalysis. Our senior scientist Dr Friedemann Leipold explained how we degraded PET on a kilogram scale and made something useful out of it, and how we carried out fundamental work on PE degradation together with the University of Greifswald.
